Successful subscription series and exceptional commitment have long since been a signature feature of this orchestra established in 1984, where musicians from Vorarlberg, Germany and Switzerland play together. Leo McFall, the new chief conductor as of the season 2020/21, will continue the cooperation with the Bregenzer Festspiele and the Vorarlberger Landestheater and the series MAHLER 9x9 with all of Gustav Mahler's symphonies will also be resumed under the direction of Kirill Petrenko.
