La traviata

For the first time, Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece La traviata will be performed on the Seebühne. The premiere takes place on 22 July 2026. The production is directed by Damiano Michieletto, with musical direction by Kirill Karabits and Pietro Rizzo.

Singalong at the Lake

For the 80th anniversary of the Bregenzer Festspiele, the Seebühne will transform into a very special soundscape on 1 August 2026: At the Singalong at the Lake, the outdoor auditorium itself becomes one musical entity.

The Excursions of Mr. Brouček

Leoš Janáček’s The Excursions of Mr. Brouček celebrates its world premiere on 23 July 2026 at the Festspielhaus. Staged by the US-American director Yuval Sharon, composed by Robert Jindra.

L’elisir d’amore

The Opera Studio’s production of L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti will be presented under the baton of Anna Kelo at the Theater am Kornmarkt on 17, 19, 21 and 22 August 2026.

In the Heart of Baroque

In 2026, the Bavarian Radio Choir will celebrate its 80th anniversary. It will perform at a choir concert on July 28, 2026, in Pfarrkirche St. Gallus, Bregenz in Bregenz.

Passion of the Common Man

Passion of the Common Man by Daníel Bjarnason and Royce Vavrek will celebrate its world premiere at the Bregenzer Festspiele on 31 July 2026 – commissioned by the Bregenzer Festspiele featuring vocal performances by Emma Kajander, Anne Sofie von Otter, Aaron Godfrey-Mayes and Jacques Imbrailo. Additional performance on 1 August 2026.
