»Ich pfeif’ auf die Sobotka«

Nikolaus Habjan is known as a director and puppeteer, but he has also rediscovered the unparalleled art of whistling. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest whistling artists: There is no coloratura crazy or note high enough for him. Together with Ines Schüttengruber, he presents a special program in which he humorously looks back on the last 10 years of Elisabeth Sobotka and her time as artistic director of the Bregenzer Festspiele. An evening full of reckless whistling with popular arias from all over the opera world and some of Elisabeth Sobotka’s personal favourites.
