Biography
Australian-born conductor Steven Moore began his musical training in organ, cello, voice, and accompaniment before continuing his studies in London.
Steven has built an international career across leading opera houses, including Glyndebourne Festival Opera, San Francisco Opera, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, and the Royal Operas in both London and Copenhagen. His work spans an impressive range of roles—conductor, head of music, coach, souffleur, and chorus master—and he is a founding member of the Chorus Forum for Opera Europa.
In recognition of his exceptional artistic contribution, he was knighted by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.
