Festival Breakfasts

The popular Festival Breakfasts offer audiences the opportunity to experience Festspiel personalities in conversation—both the artists themselves and those who, behind the scenes, contribute and have contributed to the success of the Bregenzer Festspiele with their passion and expertise.

As part of the 80th anniversary, Franz Salzmann, long-time Commercial Director of the Bregenzer Festspiele, will be our guest. Together with Alfred Wopmann and Günter Rhomberg, he succeeded in leading the Festspiele into a new artistic, financial, and structural era. Kirill Karabits, conductor of La traviata on the Seebühne, represents an international artist of the current Festival season. Finally, the Head of Artistic Administration and former baritone Jaakko Kortekangas offers insight into his fascinating and multifaceted work.

The Friends of the Bregenzer Festspiele, together with ORF Vorarlberg, make it possible to meet these three Festspiel personalities as part of the Festival Breakfasts. They speak about their professions, their personal journeys, and their love for art and Lake Constance. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy a pleasant breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere.
