PARIS! PARIS!

A musical journey back in time

Imagine you could travel back in time! And you went to Paris in that exciting period around 1920! When cinema was invented, aeroplanes first took to the skies, and the place was abuzz with new ideas. When artists from all over the world gathered in that big city and created their finest works. Imagine that you were there among them! Three music-making friends – an inventor, an author and a painter – are obsessed with this dream. They get into a time machine built by the inventor, set off, and on their way discover a sensation...

PARIS! PARIS! is a piece of time-travelling music theatre, inspiring and packed with adventure. The audience will help out musically operating the time machine and also conjuring up the unforgettable atmosphere of Paris in the early years of last century. The humorous theatre piece will feature the fascinating music of Bohuslav Martinů, Erik Satie, Igor Stravinsky, Francis Poulenc, Marcus Nigsch and other composers, transporting the audience back to that intriguing time. Everyone secretly hopes it will never end.
