The next opera trip has been organised for Friday 29 May 2015 (departure point: Festspielhaus Bregenz, 12:30 p.m.). We will visit the Bavarian State Opera in Munich for a performance of Alban Berg's Lulu. The production features tenor Rainer Trost – known to Bregenz audiences for his Tamino (The Magic Flute) on the Lake Stage in 2013/14 – the bass baritone Martin Winkler, who comes from nearby Lochau, and last but not least Kirill Petrenko, who grew up in Vorarlberg and was named Conductor of the Year in 2014.
Before the performance there will be an opportunity to go on a guided tour of the Bavarian State Opera and to hear an introductory talk about the opera. Afterwards there will also be enough time to savour some gastronomic delights prepared by Käfer Theatergastronomie. The opera begins at 6 p.m.
Within one week the available seats were FULLY BOOKED. If you wish, your name can be entered on a waiting list (firstname.lastname@example.org or call +43 (0)5574 407 154).
