About
Three sheep in search of adventure – and freedom beyond the pasture. Fred, Albert, and John have had enough of their dull existence on a Scottish farm. Day after day it’s the same old routine: grazing, obeying, yawning. Guarded by the overenthusiastic sheepdog Craig and the farmer Ptolemeius, who is either asleep or drinking, there seems to be only one way out – escape to the city! But the road to freedom is rough, and the surprises awaiting them in the big metropolis are even greater...
MähTropolis is a dynamic musical animal adventure, bursting with wit, charm, and classical music from Satie to Shostakovich. With infectious energy, the Sonus Brass Ensemble captivates young audiences – proving that classical music can be bold, rebellious, and wildly entertaining!
A production of the Sonus Brass Ensemble, the Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, the Konzerthaus Wien and the Bregenzer Festspiele
