Discover the secrets of the Bregenz Festival! We'll take you on an exciting journey right into the heart of the theatre business. You'll have the opportunity to explore the world's largest lake stage. Take a look behind the scenes of the various productions and learn all about the history and development of the Bregenz Festival!  

Please note that due to the situation surrounding the Corona virus, all box office and group tours booked up to the cancellation of the festival season on 15 May 2020 will be cancelled or reversed. All information on the reversal of tickets already paid for can be found here: https://bregenzerfestspiele.com/de/node/1368

On a smaller scale and with appropriate safety precautions, we can still offer guided tours this summer. Tickets can be purchased from 6 July 2020. Of course it is also possible to exchange already booked tour tickets (depending on availability).

Guided tours 2020

6 - 24 July 2020, weekdays at 15.00
27 July - 22 August 2020, daily at 11.00 and 15.00

PRICE PER PERSON EUR 7.50, children up to 10 years free of charge (a ticket is still required!)
DURATION 45 minutes
MEETIN POINT Main entrance Festspielhaus

Due to rehearsals, rebuilding work and weather influences, the guided tour programme may be restricted. Restrictions do not entitle to return or exchange the tickets. Animals, with the exceptioMn of auxiliary dogs with the appropriate certificate, cannot be taken along.

Guided tours for groups 2020

6 - 24 July 2020, weekdays at 11.00, 13.00, 14.00 and 16.00
27 July - 22 August 2020, daily at 13.00, 14.00 and 16.00

Guided tours 2021

From 21 July to 22 August 2021 guided tours take place daily at 10.30 & 11.30 a.m., 12.30, 1.30, 2.30 & 3.30 p.m.

Tickets can be ordered online, by telephone on +43 5574 407 6 or at the Ticket Center. Since the number of participants is limited, we recommend to book tickets in good time. 

Only in German language!

Rehearsals, construction work and inclement weather may cause restrictions in the tour program. Restrictions do not entitle participants to return or exchange their ticket.

Guided tours for groups 2021

Further information will be made available in July 2020 for the Festival Season 2021.

Safety Instructions

Due to the current situation, the offer was adjusted accordingly. A maximum of 20 people can take part in a guided tour and the tour is limited to the outdoor area in all weather conditions. Please note the following preventive measures:

Keep your distance | It is obligatory to wear a mouth and nose protector that you have brought with you.
Respiratory hygiene | Cover mouth and nose with a handkerchief when coughing or sneezing. If no handkerchief is available, sneeze or cough in the crook of your arm and not in your hand.
Cashless payment | Please use our online shop when purchasing the cards or make a cashless payment on site.
Personalization | Participation in events is only possible with personalized cards.
Symptoms of illness | If symptoms of illness occur, please stay away from events.

Please inform yourself about the currently valid security regulations at the time of your visit.

In the event of a breach of the above-mentioned safety regulations or if symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties occur, the Bregenz Festival reserves the right to refuse participation in events without refunding the ticket value.
