Il Trovatore: One of the most successful operas on the Seebühne

In 2005 and 2006, the Opera on the Lake - Il Trovatore - joined the ranks of the most successful operas to have ever been performed on the Seebühne in the past ten years: 301,573 guests in two years saw Robert Carsen and Paul Steinberg's production.
Opera at the Festspielhaus: The Fall of the House of Usher

Critics and guests alike expressed their unanimous enthusiasm for the Opera at the Festspielhaus The Fall of the House of Usher by Claude Debussy. The first opera production on the new stage of the renovated Festspielhaus combined two of Debussy's ballets, Prélude à l'après-midi d'une faune and Jeuxas, and the new one-act opera The Fall of the House of Usher in a unique way.
The contemporary series Kunst aus der Zeit and the orchestral concerts set visitor records.
